Russia’s Gokhran to auction diamonds to local firms on April 14
MOSCOW, Feb 26 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Finance Ministry plans to hold an open auction at the State Treasury Gokhran to sell diamonds with the weight of over 10.8 carats to domestic companies from the treasury on April 14, Gokhran said Thursday in a statement on its Web site.
Bids for the auction will be collected until March 11, and a company may file only one bid. A participant also has to make a 60,000-ruble downpayment. The diamonds on sale will be displayed until April 4.
Russia’s plan for precious metals and gems sales from state reserves for 2016 amounts to 7.1 billion rubles, 6.15 billion rubles more than in 2015.
